AMPM: Exam Preparation Platform for South African Students
The Problem
South African matric students have access to plenty of content: YouTube explanations, past papers, study guides. But none of it is structured. A student watching exam walkthrough videos has no way to test their understanding, track their progress, or identify which topics they're struggling with most.
The content on the Maths with Margs YouTube channel was reaching students, but without a product to deliver it properly, the learning experience was fragmented and unmotivating.
The Solution
I built AMPM as a full mobile learning platform using Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform, combining structured video delivery with a custom question engine, gamified progression, and a Firebase backend designed to scale.
