From Problem to Product
A mobile exam prep platform for South African students
South African students preparing for matric needed structured, step-by-step guidance on how to tackle past exam questions. The content existed, but without a product to deliver it, it wasn't reaching students effectively.
I built AMPM as a full product ecosystem: a Kotlin Multiplatform app with structured YouTube video delivery, a dynamic question engine, gamified XP tracking, offline-first Firebase architecture, and a subscription system. The platform includes a real-time analytics dashboard giving the team full visibility into engagement, content performance, and user behaviour.
Result: A production-ready educational product ecosystem with end-to-end analytics, clean architecture, and a data model designed to scale across subjects, grades, and syllabuses.

A digital home for an ERC-funded international research network
A team of 15 researchers spread across Europe needed more than a website. They needed a structured content system that could represent their global team, organise years of academic output, and communicate the depth of their work to both academic and public audiences.
I built a custom research platform with an interactive team map, per-researcher profiles, and structured publication workflows across books, articles, artworks, and public engagements. The result is a maintainable, authoritative web presence the team can evolve independently.
Result: A polished international academic web presence with publication workflows and information architecture, live for a research network funded by the European Research Council.

Turning platform data into product decisions
Once the AMPM learning platform launched, the team needed real visibility into how students were engaging. Which subjects had the highest drop-off? Were new users returning after day one?
I built a real-time analytics dashboard integrated with Firebase, tracking user growth, daily active users, answer correctness rates, session durations, and content performance, with date-range filtering and CSV export for deeper analysis.
Result: The team can now make data-driven content and product decisions, seeing exactly where students struggle and how the platform performs day to day.
